Sparks Of Courage

Jordin Sparks, American Idol winner, has something that Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Madonna are illegitimately credited with: Courage.
Madonna supposedly "had the courage" to make music videos and put on concerts showing various representations of Jesus Christ, the cross, and other religiously blasphemous content...for a crowd of cheering, pagan fans, that is.
Those on the left call this courageous.
Brittany Spears and Christina Aguilera "had the courage" to show their lesbian side at the annual MTV awards when they shared a kiss with Madonna as 'Hollywood,' not so ironically the decadence capitol of the world, written in glowing letters behind them; the fact that it was, most likely, in front of an audience packed with homo, bi, and omni-sexuals would seem to dampen the legitimacy of a 'courageous act' on their part. After all, if I, as a Christian, step up to the podium of the biggest church in the country and declare boldly my commitment to Jesus Christ, would we call that a courageous act? When National Organization for Women president, Kim Gandy, stands before a NARAL political rally and touts her support for abortion, should we applaud her for her fearless and gutsy bravery? When Lindsey Lohan checks herself into a rehab center because of her excessive partying and illicit drug and alcohol use should we marvel at her courage?
I think not.
But rather, real courage is demonstrated when the abortionist agrees to a debate with such babies rights defenders as Janet Folger – honors graduate of Cleveland State University and Pro-life advocate, Michelle Malkan – syndicated columnist and FOX news contributor and Feminists for Life member, Ann Coulter – no introduction needed.
Courage, real courage, is the Christian missionary who takes the Gospel to the jungles of darkest Africa and gets speared to death in the process like Jim Elliot. Real courage is Mother Theresa, taking herself from the comforts of plenty and ease, giving her entire life to poverty and hardship to help the poor of India.
Courage can also be something as small and simple as a sweet, black, beautiful and talented young woman like Jordin Sparks. She stood in front of thousands of viewers at the VMA awards recently and tells her rutting, slutty, and degenerate peers that she is proud to be saving herself for marriage. It came just after Russell Brand ridiculed a boy singing group, the Jonas brothers, for sporting promise rings. Jordin herself wears one in symbolic anticipation of the time when she will give her future husband a very special gift, one that he and no other man will be able to cherish with her for their entire lives together.
That is something that the sybaritic starlets and Hollywood horndogs of the entertainment industry will never experience.
The likes of Russell Brand, models of morality such as Lohan, Spears, and Madonna stand in front of 'the choir' and rail against Christians and conservative issues, and Hollywood incestuously fondles them and tells them they are 'brave' for their perverted, wanton, and despicable indulgences. When the celebutards of Tinsel town take precious time out their itinerary of Roman style drunken orgies and comment on the beautiful and the brave, it's high time we real people educate them on the meanings of the words. But then, how do you educate those who are constantly lubricating their brains with a steady stream of chemicals and hedonistic debauchery?
The last thing these self-absorbed bisexual cocaine concubines know about is courage and bravery. I doubt their poor little intellects were never anything to speak of in the first place, so with all the moral and substance abuse, education may not even be possible. But if it is, mere words probably won't work. A picture is most likely the best learning tool that they are able to grasp mentally when it comes to real, true courage.
So here is a picture for them. One of courage, of absolute valor and nerve, standing boldly in the face of the enemy.
Here is the lovely, the brave, the beautiful, Jordin Sparks.
